So a laceweight held with a cobweb, and big needles; can I be different from what I generally make? I don’t generally like the fabric this creates so we’ll see. At least it’s grey.
I’ve heard numerous amazing things about how it’s a well written pattern. I found the layout of the PK Pullover a bit… cumbersome so I’m curious if this will be different. I’ve now started the collar 3x and have to admit this part is straightforward. And it seems third time’s the charm.
- v1: laceweight and smaller needles. also cast on smaller neckline. that was NOT getting over my head.
- v2: laceweight and CO with 6mm, then slowly go down until beginning yoke with 4.5mm… it’s missing something. as I only have 2 skeins of the silkpaca I want to maximize longsleeves so I’m hesitant to hold doubled. (yes I could purchase more, likely other dye lots)
- v3: lace weight with the cobweb.similar enough I think it’ll pass for the same colour. Hopefully it’ll block and fill out. What? Why would I swatch? Oh right. Working swatch. Let’s go with that.
