Stitch marker for progress

I’ve been struggling to knit my wrapezoid collar. It’s been a bit boring and after a half row I’d be pausing to see if I made progress. After a week of no progress yesterday I put a stitch marker in to see where I started for the day. I knit an inch before I paused to check my work. So far today I’ve had the same outcome. There’s about three inches left.

I also finally gave it a fit test and am surprised to find I like it much more than I expected.

Back to knitting. This collar won’t knit itself.

I've been deep in knitting Wrapezoid by Shana S. Cohen. I love the squishy garter stitch, the asymmetry, and that it's a unique fabric since I'm combining fingering weight yarns into a DK weight. I crocheted the armholes closed to make it easier to work. I'm definitely looking forward to unzipping it. To show how focused I am on it (and ignoring this site), my project photos have been up on Ravelry for a while, but only today did I start a project here.

I'm swatching lots to prepare for the resumption of sisterhood in person knitting and crochet next week. I should be seaming two blankets my knitters worked on, but I haven't.
