I knit while prepping dinner and finished the toe before 7p.
It feels really nice to finally have this pair finished. They fit well too.
Maybe I’ll take better photos. Maybe I’ll weave in the ends. They’re more likely to just go into rotation as they are.
I’ve been knitting and as always neglecting to write updates here. Today i finally started the second toe for the most neglected pair of socks I’ve ever knitted.
if I do my evening right I might finish tonight.
Slowly this pair of socks is getting closer to completion. I’m just about an inch before the heel flap on the second sock. They aren’t knitting themselves that’s for sure. Ideally I’d like to complete them before the end of the year but they’ll be finished when I finish them.
In fits and starts this pair of socks is making progress.
I finished the first while undergoing a saga to replace a broken post and crown … and my dentist announced his retirement in the middle of the process.
Will I finish these in 2023? We’ll find out!
This pair of socks have been neglected in my EDC. After finishing binding off the color affection shawl while out and about this afternoon, I had little excuse to avoid knitting them. I think the colorway is too nice for socks but the leg I started is not quite right for fingerless mitts. Instead of ripping out yet another project, I decided to go with it and started the heel flap. How long it will take me to finish this pair, time will tell. That’s ok. I’m working on lots of different projects right now.
