Snuggle cat approves of progress.
In times of stress apparently I work on blankets.
Hexagons with Emily Ocket's circular cast on increasing to 120 sts, binding off with Jeny's Super Stretchy Bind-off.

Joined together the first six hexagons. I didn’t really think too much about a plan for this blanket. It’s definitely light weight. I may work a double stranded motif to see what I think of that, I also need to rethink how I’m dealing with the holes between hexagons based on current joining method. I like how the first one is tidied up, but it’s fussy.
Still caregiving for L. Trying to figure out new normals and new routines.
Working the border as one ridge garter stitch and joined with russian grafting. There's going to be many ends to weave in!
We lost Z a week ago. Unsure when I'll pick up this project again.
Couldn’t find the one I finished the night before so I knit it again. As I was cleaning up getting ready to go to bed I found it. So now I have two. The dark purple one on dot’s back is the second one in that color series.
The border/joining yarn I ordered is taking a vacation in NJ i think. Hopefully it’ll appear soon.
Completed: 8 hexagons
slowly they grow.
listening & rereading a blight of blackwings
completed: 6 hexagons
Decided on border/joining yarn (KP Cobblestone Heather Stroll) — a garter st stripe border between each hexagon.
Completed: 4 hexagons
Z is in hospice at home and it’s very stressful. Needed something modular to work on — if I mess up it’s not going to side track the entire project. But is also exists in small enough chunks I feel as if I’ve completed something. Another scrap yarn blanket felt like a good idea. Using Emily Ocker’s Circular Cast-On this time.
Each hexagon needs about 9g of yarn so far.
