we built a little nest and made a tent. I sent her off with some knitting of her own. She's wrapped in a spindle-spun handknit scarf. And she has a pink alpaca (eraser) for company.

Went shopping for a few odds and ends as we prepare for her journey to M's house next week. We still have some sewing to finish.

Her sweater based on the February Sweater in Knitter's Almanac. Malabrigo Yarn Lace in color Paris Night (52) and knit with 2.75mm ndls. I do not recommend matching yarn to needle color and knitting late at night (why I skipped the lace). I didn't get the increases quite right and it fits a little off, but she told me that's ok, it helps keep the chill off in my basement studio. tomorrow we'll go on a button hunt and weave in all the ends.

Ok. The legs are fussy. I prefer a completely different method. Next one will trial my construction idea. But I love the details and she's adorable.
