Blanket for Z

Red blanket tossed on a grey armchair with a small blue pillow. The room has parquet flooring and the chair is in front of windows with some plants on the windowsill

Wanted to work up something fast on the knitting machine, but I have to do maintenance on it. Can I mentally manage all the grafting (weaving)? We'll find out.

Modifications

CO with Judy's Magic Cast-On instead of Emily Ocker's Cast-On. Why? It was easier at this yarn weight. This creates a different center for each square so I'm finishing the mini internal squares by grafting instead of pulling through. This project is all about weaving so I like it.

I am experiencing extra holes at the center squares. I plan to simply weave in and merge stitches as best I can.

Finished size: approximately 20 x 27 inches.
