Wanted to work up something fast on the knitting machine, but I have to do maintenance on it. Can I mentally manage all the grafting (weaving)? We’ll find out.

Modifications

CO with Judy’s Magic Cast-On instead of Emily Ocker’s Cast-On. Why? It was easier at this yarn weight. This creates a different center for each square so I’m finishing the mini internal squares by grafting instead of pulling through. This project is all about weaving so I like it.

I am experiencing extra holes at the center squares. I plan to simply weave in and merge stitches as best I can.

Finished size: approximately 20 x 27 inches.
