Decided on border/joining yarn (KP Cobblestone Heather Stroll) — a garter st stripe border between each hexagon.

Completed: 4 hexagons

Z is in hospice at home and it’s very stressful. Needed something modular to work on — if I mess up it’s not going to side track the entire project. But is also exists in small enough chunks I feel as if I’ve completed something. Another scrap yarn blanket felt like a good idea. Using Emily Ocker’s Circular Cast-On this time.

Each hexagon needs about 9g of yarn so far.
