Snuggle cat approves of progress.
Joined together the first six hexagons. I didn’t really think too much about a plan for this blanket. It’s definitely light weight. I may work a double stranded motif to see what I think of that, I also need to rethink how I’m dealing with the holes between hexagons based on current joining method. I like how the first one is tidied up, but it’s fussy.
Still caregiving for L. Trying to figure out new normals and new routines.
Working the border as one ridge garter stitch and joined with russian grafting. There’s going to be many ends to weave in!
We lost Z a week ago. Unsure when I’ll pick up this project again.
Couldn’t find the one I finished the night before so I knit it again. As I was cleaning up getting ready to go to bed I found it. So now I have two. The dark purple one on dot’s back is the second one in that color series.
The border/joining yarn I ordered is taking a vacation in NJ i think. Hopefully it’ll appear soon.
Completed: 8 hexagons
