  • 2023-01-18 W — sleeves complete!

    Finally finished the second sleeve today and began the hood. Here’s hoping my merging of several patterns results in something that works on the first try. My goal is to finish knitting by the 20th just because that’s the approximate start date of the next Artyarns KAL. 8p: about 5 cm in. Goal is about […]


  • 2023-01-05 R — check twice, knit once.

    Sleeves knit much better when you check both stitch count and gauge. Ripped out first sleeve attempt. Now working over 60sts to start (technically size M) and dec 2sts after 20 rnds twice. Switching colours every 7 repeats. I think it’ll work out. Current plan is to end with corrugated ribbing.

    Everyone is now recovering at home. My day 5 is today. Picking up sts for other sleeve so they match before I forget what st counts were. After much debate have decided to knit sleeves as written.
